Description

The RØDE NT3 End-Address Cardioid Condenser Microphone is a highly versatile, broadcast-quality microphone engineered for detailed audio capture in studio, stage, and location recording environments. Purpose-built for exceptional detail, it functions seamlessly as a stand-mounted studio mic, an indoor boom microphone for dialogue, or an agile handheld presentation mic for field journalists and vocalists.

Featuring an externally polarized 3/4-inch true-condenser transducer, the NT3 delivers an incredibly clear and articulated acoustic performance across an extensive array of sound sources, including acoustic guitars, overhead drums, piano, and spoken word. The microphone is designed with dual-power versatility, operating via standard 48V phantom power or an internal 9V battery when external power is unavailable on cameras or field mixers. Built to withstand the rigors of heavy location use, it features a heavy-duty cast metal chassis finished in durable satin nickel, a heat-treated welded mesh head, internal capsule shock-mounting to drastically suppress mechanical handling vibration, and sophisticated output circuitry for high immunity against radio frequency (RF) interference.
