Built with a rugged, reinforced ABS construction, it offers mobile journalists, vloggers, and independent filmmakers a high-performance audio solution for isolating targeted sound fields.
Utilizing a highly directional supercardioid polar pattern, the VideoMic tightly captures audio directly in front of the lens while heavily attenuating ambient noise from the sides and rear. It features an integrated rubber-band suspension shock mount engineered to eliminate structural vibrations and camera handling noise. Backed by a rear panel power console, it offers customizable controls including an on/off switch with a battery status LED, a switchable 80Hz high-pass filter to control low-end environmental rumble, and an internal adjustable attenuation pad (-10dB/-20dB) for distortion-free capture of loud sound sources.
