Setting up the Reference Monitor and Control Panel on Systems 1 and 2 in DaVinci Resolve

Setting Up the Dedicated Reference Monitor

First, let’s configure your secondary display to ensure you see an accurate image.

  1. Start by heading up to the DaVinci Resolve top menu, selecting Workspace, and then Clean Feed.
  2. Select your specific system monitor from the dropdown list:
    • Select CG2700X for System 2.
    • Select CG318 for System 3.

Configuring the DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel

Now, let’s get your tactile controls up and running by connecting the Micro Panel.

  1. Navigate to the DaVinci Resolve menu, located on the top left of the menu bar.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Locate and click on the Control Panels tab.
  4. From the dropdown menu, select DaVinci Micro Control Panel.

Note: Keep in mind that for these hardware changes to take effect, you will need to restart DaVinci Resolve.
