The SmallHD lite is designed for use in the field and in the studio, the 702 Lite is constructed from aluminum and is covered in a rubberized textured finish for a sure grip. With its 450 cd/m², 1200x800 LED-backlit LCD screen, the 702 Lite is designed for monitoring HD video sources. Connectivity-wise, the 702 Lite has SDI and HDMI I/O for connecting to video sources and other downstream equipment. HDMI to SDI and vice-versa cross conversion can be performed on-board for compatibility across consumer and professional platforms. For power, Sony L-series batteries are used.
